POSTWAR LIONEL 63132 AT&SF OPERATING BOX CAR & SP 2357 CABOOSE-SET OF 2

Description

This is a Postwar Lionel 63132 AT&SF Operating Box Car and 2357 SP Caboose.  The box car is in good shape except for a little missing paint mainly around the corners, corners of the roof, and ladder.  Please see pictures.  The car has one sliding door on each side that open and close freely.  When the plunger is pulled out on the bottom, the man moves forward and pushes the sliding door open.  On one side, the lower support bar for the sliding door is a little bent , but doesn't effect the movement of the door whatsoever. The caboose is in good shape but, unfortunately, it will not light for me.  Neither one come with their original box, but will be packed well for shipping.

This was part of my father's vast and cherished railroad collection.  They have been stored in a well ventilated, moisture controlled, smoke-free environment for many years. Since a lot of them may not have been run for many years, I would recommend proper lubrication followed by a break-in period for optimum performance. You may notice some dust and dirt, I will leave the cleaning of these items up to the discretion of the new owner.
