1905 seems to be the key year of when everything started.
Such early postcards were mostly privately made as the big manufacturers did not really start until a few years later.
Precursor Halloween postcards are very difficult to obtain postally used in their year of issue and should belong in any Halloween collection.
All of our postcards are genuine and authentic. We do not sell reproductions.
We try to sell complete sets. We also like to put together postcards from the same series.
It can take years in trying to complete a set from a specific series. This will allow the collector to put together a collecton in a much shorter period of time. The time, money and effort spent in trying to locate specific Halloween postcards in completing a set warrants a premium in price.
We love Halloween postcards postally used on October 31st. From a collector's perspective, collecting them used on October 31st brings the joy to another level, and because they are scarce, prices will reflect it. In rare instances, you can find a postcard used on October 31st with a postmark from a well known town with a notorious reputation.
We do not take pictures with a cell phone or a camera. All of our pictures are scanned using a high resoluton scanner, so every detail can be seen including the many Halloween postcards that are embossed.

Scanning also elimates any glare or flash that can discolor the picture. Our descriptions of the postcards will be straight forward, emphasizing on the maker, artist, etc... Each buyer and seller has their own view on the condition of a postcard, therefore we feel that it is very important to give you the best possible picture.
When postcards are postally used, we cannot expect them to be perfect, nor we would want them to be.
