Our custom power cords are, made to order and are built in Mt. Airy, NC. The cord is "Made in USA" Southwire Seoprene. Highest quality plug ends are New Old Stock/Made in USA plug ends (the new ones made today are made overseas). Male plug end is an Ericson NEMA 5-15 15a Hospital Grade device. Female plug end is a Leviton NEMA 5-15 15a Hospital Grade device. Hospital grade receptacles and plug ends are specially designed and are subject to higher standards. Hospital grade plugs and receptacles are identified by a characteristic green dot (shown in photos). Hospital grade quality delivers additional grounding reliability, assembly integrity, strength and durability. Southwire's Seoprene portable cord products are manufactured with advanced thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds that provide exceptional service life. These constructions are ideal for use where flexibility, and broader temperature ranges are required.
