The Accuton S280-18-282 is an 11-inch sandwich cone bass driver with high efficiency for 3-way designs. It has a large dimension voice coil with 55 mm titanium voice coil former.
It is driven by an underhung 120mm neodymium magnet system for very low distortion. The suspension allows for high mechanical excursion. The special multi-spoke basket provides improved airflow.
Short Description:
28 cm subwoofer with sandwich cone. A magnet system with neodymium magnets drives the speaker. It has a rear-ventilated voice coil. The underhung voice coil remains completely in the magnetic field in linear operation.
